A "she was there in spirit" birthday party

My family loves a show. Being the centre of attention (especially in a crowded restaurant) is high on the list of Donnelly "musts". It came as no surprise to me that in honour of my birthday (and despite me being on the other side of the world at the time), they decided to go out for a birthday dinner.

Being in New York, I recently crossed off the life list ambition of "eating a giant pretzel from a vendor in central park". Being a good daughter, I sent mum the photo to show her:

Family...they do miss me!
